Selected for the right cases

Service
Shockwave therapy is one tool MRC may use for selected tendon and soft tissue problems. It is not a blanket treatment for every ache. The visit starts with an evaluation to decide whether shockwave, manual care, exercise prescription, or another path makes the most sense.
Shockwave therapy may be considered for certain persistent tendon or soft tissue presentations. Your provider will explain why it is or is not appropriate based on your history and exam.
Tissue problems often need more than passive treatment. Shockwave may be paired with a loading plan, mobility work, or activity modification so the tissue has a better path forward.
MRC will explain what the treatment feels like, how many visits may be considered, and what signs would lead the plan to change.
First Visit
Book a consultation and our team will help match your goals, evaluation findings, schedule, and comfort level to the right care path.
Bring your ID, insurance information if you plan to use benefits, and wear comfortable clothing that makes it easy to assess movement.
Bring prior imaging or referral notes if you have them. We will explain what is useful for your plan before asking you to buy anything.
Provider Team
Shockwave therapy is used as part of a larger clinical plan focused on recovery, movement, and performance.

Dr. Ryan Engelhardt is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Army veteran, former wrestler at NDSU (2001-2006), and lifelong advocate for helping people move, perform, and live at their highest level.
“The care felt structured, clear, and built around getting back to the things I actually need my body to do.”
“I appreciated that the plan included hands-on care, movement work, and a clear explanation of what to do between visits.”
It may be considered for some cases, but the right answer depends on evaluation findings and your overall plan.
Usually no. It often works best when paired with the right movement, loading, or recovery strategy.
